the kit

The body is made from CNC machined aluminium and chrome plated. Interchangeable springs offer peak pressures of 6 bar and 9 bar depending on grind and puck prep. A spring swap is possible in the time it takes to grind a dose.

easy mounting

The Springoni kit is compatible with most Pavonis, pre- and post-millennium, without changes to the group head; it just bolts on. Installation takes 5-10min with just a few tools. If your group is attached to boiler with two screws, it will fit.

lever extension

The lever extension allows for easy use with the 9-bar spring or when you want to hold a preinfusion for long.

extra handle

The bolt-on handle offers enhanced ergonomics while you pull a shot. It mounts direct to the group via two screws

about us, and the springoni idea

We are Axel and Sebastian, two product designer and Pavoni enthusiasts. We love the direct levers and spring levers. We worked on it for more than a year, got frustrated with all the Pavoni tolerances but rewarded when the first working prototype rewarded us with a very tasty result.

So the thing is we could not always fire up a commercial spring lever maschine at home for just one espresso, well you can... but some people will roll with their eyes... so we thought about whether you could turn the Pavoni into a spring loaded maschine - turns out it works very well and is a lot fun to use. Even for total newbies it is often lot easier to pull a shot with the 6 bar spring then direct. You can focus more on the grind size, the flow and the result in the cup knowing that the shots have a constant - the pressure profile of the spring.
